Adult waterslide-fun isnt just for kids
Do not think that just because you are an adult waterslide fun is only meant for kids. There are many, many waterslides you can have fun on with or without your children. Water parks are for everyone, don't be shy you can have fun, too.
I think the more adult waterslide are the ones that have the vertical drops of 100 feet or so that you reach speeds of 55mph on your way down. I do not even think they let kids do that kind. They could be very dangerous to anyone who does not follow the rules and stay in the position they tell you to stay in, arms crossed over your body and feet together, maybe even crossed.
Disney has the highest waterslide in North America which stands 121 feet tall and the only other one that is highest in the world is in Brazil and it stands 135 feet tall. You gotta have some guts to get up that high and hurl yourself down the chute into the water at the bottom. I do not think I could do it.
If you ever find yourself in Dublin, Ireland check out a water park called the Aqua Zone. They have a waterslide unlike anything you have ever seen before. Instead of walking to the top and sliding down you will be blasted up the slide to the top then sent through all the twists and turns all the way back down. This genius reverse waterslide is called the Master Blaster and lives up to it's name.
Waterslides are all over the world and almost no hotel is complete these days without one or two slides or even their own whole indoor water park. Even the Mall of America has built a water park right next to it called the Water Park of America. 70,000 square feet of fun in Bloomington, Minnesota is available for parties and group activities. The main attraction is the 10-story tower waterslide. The riders are in a raft that twists and turns and even does a curve outside of the building.
Kalahari resorts also have large indoor water parks, too. The one in Ohio can boast the distinction of being the biggest indoor water resort in the US contained under one roof. Many of the water rides are fast and furious and are also considered thrill rides. This water resort does things up huge and I advise you to ride at your own risk and also on an empty stomach.
Where else can you find the absolute best water parks in the world? The Wisconsin Dells, of course. Noah's Ark is one of the nation's leading water parks and holds many records like the one for having the longest water coaster in the world called the Black Anaconda. Try the looping water-slide, The Scorpion's Tail, if you dare.
Of course, if it is the Caribbean you long for you can find waterslides there, too. The Breezes Resort and Spa Trelawny, on Jamaica's northern coast has four pools with one of them boasting an 84-foot adult water-slide that will lead you to the poolside bar.
