Have you ever dreamed of beautiful turquoise waters, quiet beaches and year round sunshine? Well the Gulf Coast Florida is the place for you! The South West Gulf coast is abound with the best golf courses, shopping and boating activities enough for all the family to enjoy. When you choose the Gulf coast for your vacation you will need a great place to sit back and relax after the days activities.
We choose the region to buy our vacation villa in 2007 , we have been renting it out since to many happy guests who return year on year.
If you are looking for a great villa rental check us out at http://www.sunhavenvillas.com
There are great day trips to be had in the area. You can go to Boca Grande for the day, the 'Real Florida' where there are no high rises just some great beach hang outs and great restaurants. You go have to pay $5 to cross the causeway at Gasparilla Island but its worth it when you get there. You can ride around on a Golf cart and soak in the atmosphere, or take a boat ride with Boca Boats and see the dolphins http://www.bocaboat.com, fishing charters are also available.
If you are looking for a lovely evening trip why not check out Palm Island where there is a lovely sea food restaurant and bar, you get the ferry from Johnny Leverock's Seafood House, ferries are regular. You can also rent a golf cart on Palm Island and check out the resort and beach there, total relaxation and privacy. If you fancy a trip further afield there is a lot to choose from, North is Sarasota and the pristine and world famous waters of Siesta Key. South you have the upscale city of Naples where the rich and famous hang out. From Naples you can take an air boat ride for something that bit different. Closer to the villa there is Punta Gorda and Fisherman's Village a lovely quaint shopping mall where you can pick up keep sakes and something that bit different to take home with you. There is a waterfront restaurant at the end of Fisherman's village that is good to try especially the burgers and fries! Englewood Beach 7 miles from SunHaven Villa is a lovely laid back beach town that you can spend the day topping up that tan!
There is so much to see and do in the area and yet when you return to the villa after your hectic day you will think that you are in paradise.
Come and enjoy the great Gulf Coast Florida!
