Of course in every hunter’s list, there are the weapon and ammunition, the needed food and water, and the required legal documents as proofs that one could hunt. However there are other important things to bring along in cases of urgent need. There has to be some emergency hunting equipments included for every hunter.
The first emergency hunting equipments to pack along is some first aid supplies. You can purchase these supplies at the pharmacy. The first aid kit should include items like plasters, bandage cloths, antiseptic creams, swabs, cottons and disinfectant. It is important to have these as you may be injured not so much from the weapon but more from the trip inside the forest. Another thing to add in the list is communication device such as mobile phone and a GPS (Global Positioning System). This is essential in cases you get lost or there are needed aids for possible serious injuries that even the first aid kit could not assist. You could use the mobile phone to call or text to ask for help. The GPS device will be useful if there is instance where you could not find the way out or is lost in the woods. Yet another important thing to bring along is a space blanket. This is a high-tech blanket which made by NASA tested aluminum and could be folded and fitted in a pocket. It is useful in times when you get lost, this serves to protect your body from cold and hypothermia.
The other emergency hunting equipments will be waterproof matches, torchlight, orange safety vest and knife. One may think these items will add on the weight of the pack bag. Yet they are extremely necessary to be included and should not be considered as extra burdens. You never know if you are going to get lost and being prepared is better when you are planning for a hunting trip.
