Secret relationships - are exciting - but deadly to relationships
Secret relationships are not all they're cracked up to be. Sneaking around, trying not to be seen by anyone you know, lying and trying to keep all the lies straight is not an easy task. You start trying to justify what you are doing by trying to convince yourself that your relationship with your wife is not as good as it was. You will most assuredly get caught.
When you first got married, you promised to love and cherish, not deceive and cheat. You were supposed to be working together for your future. Things were good between you before you met your secret lover. So what happened? Some where along the line you decided to forget about all that was good and become selfish and start thinking only of yourself and what you want.
You deliberately push thoughts of your spouse and how they will feel when they discover your indiscretion(s) away and willingly enter into secret relationships. At first you may feel the exhilaration that comes along with the danger of what you are doing and that feeling may keep you going back for more. The stolen moments are just that, stolen. your behavior at home has probably changed and she knows something is going on. You really are
You may think that you are getting away with something but the reality of the situation is your behavior at home has probably changed and she knows something is going on. You really are only fooling yourself. The guilt you feel is making you distant and irritable. You say and do things that make her feel like this is all her fault.
The hurt you have caused will only increase exponentially when you do finally get caught. The trust she did have for you will be completely destroyed and she will be devastated. If you care about her at all you will rethink cheating on her. Do not make her regret having married you. She does not deserve the hurt you are about to cause.
You and your secret lover are jeopardizing your current relationships with your respective spouses and even your children. Think about how they will feel when what you are doing results in a divorce. Do not make them have to choose between their parents. Do you really want to lose custody of them and only see them every other weekend and two weeks in the summer?
Stop right now and think about what you are doing. Ask yourself if you really want to be responsible for destroying the lives of everyone involved. If you truly can say that you do not care about anyone but yourself then go ahead with your plans. Just prepare yourself for the consequences because you will probably lose everything that was ever important to you and end up all alone.
People who cheat do it without concern for the other people in their lives and think of nothing but their own gratification. Having secret relationships will cause you and everyone concerned nothing but trouble.
