Relationships and cheating - they dont mix
Relationships and cheating just don't mix. Your relationship cannot survive if one of you cheats on the other. If you don't already know, there are several things you can watch out for if you suspect your partner is cheating on you.
Have they suddenly become distant and irritable? Since there are a number of things in life that can make a person distant and irritable you need to clarify the situation. Ask if there is something wrong and listen closely to the answer you get. If they hem and haw, can't look you in the eye and do not give you a straight answer then you should be a little suspicious that maybe something is not right.
Or if they start accusing you of some indiscretion and you can't understand why they would do this, it may be a case of them trying to throw suspicion off themselves for their own transgressions in relationships and cheating.
There could be something to worry about if they have recently lost interest in having sex with you and give you some lame excuse when you question them. Unless they are superhuman they will not have the energy to keep up with two sexual partners and the second one is newer and more exciting so you get put on the back burner.
Do you smell perfume on their clothes when they come home from "working late"? Have you found notes or receipts for special gifts or dinners out or maybe even hotel rooms. signs like these need immediate attention and you must confront your partner and demand answers. They may still deny the accusation and try to talk their way out of it.
If you notice a change in the way they wear their hair or all of a sudden try to lose that belly they have acquired over the years, it could be a sign that they have someone on the side. Hey maybe they have just decided they need to get into better shape and suddenly got motivated to do it, possible but not probable. Most likely they are cheating on you.
You have two choices when you find out your partner is cheating on you. You can try to forgive them and go on as if nothing has happened or you can pack their bags and make them leave or leave yourself like I did when I found out that my husband was having an affair. We had been married for seven years and I was just starting out in my new nursing career and was working ungodly hours. I was exhausted and I guess he thought he was justified. We have been divorced now for ten years.
Everyone handles their emotions differently and guilt is no exception. If someone feels guilty they may go out of their way to be nice and try to assuage their guilt by buying you things and taking you to nice places. This may initially give you a good feeling but if there are ulterior motives attached to the niceness, you will soon see through it for what it really is, ruining relationships and cheating.
