Don't get too freaked out about this step, true it will take some time, but once you've gotten the information together you can pretty much use it over and over again (there may be some minor changes you might need to make but the majority of it will all be the same).
4. A good place to go for help, if you need it, is at the financial aid department at the college you are planning on attending. The people there are experts at helping students find money for school. It is a good place to look for help and guidance.
It doesn't matter if you want to apply for a scholarship or a grant, no matter what you choose just make sure that you take the time to start the process early. It's also very important that all the applications you fill out are complete and that you stay organized. I know, this is challenging enough when you don't have kids but it's even tougher when you are a mother. Try to get someone to watch your kids for a day and then you can plan on spending the whole day gathering the information you need.
