Calorie reduction diet-this can also be tricky
All of the diets out there are enough to drive anybody crazy. They all scream out their promises and are proud to spew their hype, hoping you will try their diet. The problem is that fad diets have a lousy track record of success. Some of them work for some people, but think about this: do they have more of an incentive to sell you the last diet you will ever need, or to sell you a diet that only works for a while, thereby forcing you to buy their next "new" diet? What they are doing is hiding the truth, or at least cleverly disguising it. What is that truth? You can only lose weight through a calorie reduction diet.
Okay, there's even a catch to that statement. It all comes down to taking in fewer calories than you burn off. When you do that, you will lose weight every single time. Fad diets use various gimmicks to cover up how they really work. When they do work, it's through some form of a calorie reduction diet. However, because you are really buying into their gimmick, you will go off the diet once the novelty of the gimmick wears off. You think you have failed yet again, but the diet industry thinks they have succeeded.
The games they play wouldn't matter so much if they didn't have such a negative impact on your health. So, if you are overweight, it's probably not your fault, especially if you have tried several diet plans in the past. You can actually go on a diet you make yourself, if you want.
Now, all successful diets rely on reducing caloric intake, and increasing how many calories you burn. However, you can only go so far with that concept before you start risking your health through malnourishment.
You still need to take in so many calories when you're on a calorie reduction diet. A lot of people believe that taking things to the extreme will give them an extremely good result. So, they learn that getting rid of 500 calories per day will lead to their losing one pound per week, but then they want to lose ten pounds in a week so they try to figure out ways to get rid of 5,000 calories per day.
In theory, it sounds like a great way to lose a lot of weight fast, but there are two main problems with that theory. First, it's very dangerous and you could do a lot of damage to your body, and possibly die. Second, your body doesn't want to die, so once you take in too few calories, it will go into starvation mode. When this happens, it will do everything it can to not burn off calories, even when you are resting. Then, even though you are torturing yourself you will stop seeing results.
You can start your own calorie reduction diet, or follow one that someone else has already developed. The key is to be sure that you don't overdo it and take a healthy approach to weight loss.
